I’m Tiffany A. Ingle, a thirty-something wife and mother who is busy navigating life. This is a chronicle of my journey toward becoming a Virtuous Wife according to Proverbs 31.
Why This Blog Exists
The blog is called Savvy Mocha Mama mainly because it’s written from my point of view. My primary aim is to produce content that transcends color and culture for the promotion of healthy, wholesome families.
As a woman of color, I am troubled by the predominate media stereotypes of other women of color, in particular the Black woman, especially as it concerns marriage and family. Therefore, I am committed to doing my part to normalize the perception of Black women as highly educated, health-conscious wives and mothers with stable families. It is a lofty goal, but it is an important goal.
I will also feature information relevant to those in interracial and intercultural relationships, another topic that is close to home. My family of origin is mixed both racially and culturally, and my husband and I are in a mixed marriage. This mama is a firm believer in the notion that healthy families come in all colors 🙂
Who This Blog is For
The primary goal of this blog is to inspire other women of African descent to find contentment in the traditional roles of wife and mother. However, there is content here that can and will benefit anyone.
